GULF FOR GOOD raise funds for children's charity projects around the world through adventure challenges.
Since 2001, they have raised over US$3.76 million for 60 projects in 27 countries helping over 30,000 children in need. Their work is in the areas of health, housing and education. Each year, they choose 4-5 projects and create adventure challenges in those countries, so challengers can visit the project site and see how their funds will be used. For example, when you climb Kilimanjaro with Gulf for Good, you might visit Larchfield Kids...
In 2020, projects include:
- Building schools in brick kiln communities in Nepal in partnership with Street Child Nepal
- Building classrooms and a playground in Uganda in partnership with Kisoro Children's Foundation
- Building year round indoor multi-purpose room in the Chicuchas Wasi school for indigenous girls in Peru, to allow activities to continue through the long rainy season
